2020 and we look forward to a new season with Lantluft in Orranäs for both the cafe and our five rental properties.

A little renovation in the cafe kitchen is underway in order to make it easier to work with. Unfortunately, this has meant that we have had to close the large baking oven again with masonry figures that may be works by Gunnar Torhamn. The back of the wall is in our linen storage, and the murals are still there. There Gunnar Torhamn, the great artist of the countryside, must have lived and worked during a period of his artistic life. If you want to get acquainted with the labor painter Johan Ahlbeck from the Smedjebacken rolling mill, it is possible to view a collection of lithographs in the cafe. Is there a story why these pictures are in Torbjörn's ownership ... as he probably likes to tell ...

In the EU project, for the association Kustvägen Sydost, in the spring we will work more with flavors, sensory, in order to develop our food crafts along the coastal route, as well as some on wine, which suits us well as we now have a permanent alcohol license. And we continue on our path, ecologically, locally and here as far as we can. Our crops grow so there will be more berries, fruits and vegetables right from the back!

SmakupplevelseBlekinge continues to be an important source of inspiration for us and we participate in developing the important association, which has been a pillar for us from the start in 2013 when we took over Lantluft.
